What to Expect

We understand that for some, taking the step to seek counselling can be challenging. We want to provide you with a clear understanding of what to expect during your time with us!

Discovering where your past collides with your present

Here is what you can expect from our time working together: 

Intake session 

During your first session we will discuss the reasons why you are seeking counselling and gather information about your personal history, background, and current concerns. This information helps us understand your needs and develop a treatment plan that is tailored to you.

Subsequent sessions

Following an intake your counsellors will suggest a time frame for follow up appointments. During your sessions, you and your therapist will work collaboratively to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and develop strategies to help you cope with your concerns and improve your overall well-being.


Your privacy is important to us, and all information discussed during your sessions will be kept confidential in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines. We will discuss with you the parameters of the confidentiality agreement so that you can feel comfortable moving forward.
